the xbox's RROD is gone but not forgotn
The moment every Xbox 360 owner dreads is undoubtedly the infamous Red Ring of Death that signaled the end of life for your precious Xbox 360. For better or worse Microsoft removed the ability to 'Red Ring' from the Xbox 360 Slim announced last week at E3. Thankfully, it's been replaced with a less severe warning for all you inconsiderate Xbox owners that place your 360 in those hard-to-breathe cubbies.

If you've already picked up the slimmer Xbox 360, you'll be happy to know Microsoft is looking out for your Xbox's best interests. All those Xbox 360 Slims flying out the door now sport the ability to warn you when your Xbox 360 is suffering from poor ventilation by showing a red dot on the front power indicator. Failure to move it into the open, allowing it to cool down will result in an automatic shutdown to protect the console from some of the severe overheating issues resulting in many a RRoD. You can then turn your console back on after the power light stops flashing.

Hopefully, this brings the end to those pesky Xbox 360 problems that used to plague a few too many Xboxes. Take notice though as your new Xbox will do its best to let you know before the damage is done. Bravo, Microsoft.

Not you...You're a member of the Omtish? I can't....

yes I think spams of funny
